It was another beautiful day at Milton Keynes Equestrian Centre for the first H&P Equine Events Unaffiliated Show Jumping competition of 2024. I was there to photograph all the action for the competing riders.

Located on the outskirts of Hanslope, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Equestrian Centre is perhaps best known today for its fantastic cross-country facilities, with a huge selection of courses from mini-XC all the way up to 1m 20cms.

Indeed, the XC course had always been my reason for visiting in the past.

But there is more to Milton Keynes Equestrian Centre than XC.

H&P Equine Events Unaffiliated Show Jumping – 11/05/2024

Saturday, 11^th May 2024, was a glorious day. Katie Pestell, who runs H&P Equine Events, was running her first Unaffiliated Show Jumping competition of the year. It was also my first time in the superb 40x60m outdoor arena at Milton Keynes Equestrian Centre.

Over the course of the morning, classes ranged from 50cms up to 1m.
