We have been blessed in Northamptonshire this week with a number of stunning autumn days. It occurs to me that it’s been a while since my last public blog post, so now is probably a good time to offer something of a catch-up on the first third of 2016, which has seen me photographing weddings, events of various kinds and carrying out some commercial work.
After photographing parties on Friday and Saturday nights last week, Easter Sunday was all about Kelmarsh Country Show, held in the grounds of Kelmarsh Hall, just off the A14 in Northamptonshire.
Driving around Northamptonshire during the long-winter evenings I’ve noticed lots and lots of illuminated churches, and it’s been my intention for quite a while to have a go at photographing some of them at night. Finally, last month, I did just that.
As 2015 exits stage left, I look back on my final photographic exploits of the year and look forward to some of the things that might pass in front of my camera in 2016.
It’s been a while since my last blog entry, so I thought it was about time I brought you up-to-date with some pictures from events I was asked to photograph in the last few weeks.
Following interest being expressed in another family photo-shoot day at Sywell Country Park, Monday, 26th October (October half-term) has been ear-marked for the next one. Should the weather be really bad that day, Tuesday, 27th October will serve as a back-up.
OK, this is a first for me! On Tuesday, 18th August, I will be running a series of “family” photoshoots at Sywell Country Park in conjunction with Carla Keech of Sweet Smiles Photography.
