OK, this is a first for me! On Tuesday, 18th August, I will be running a series of “family” photoshoots at Sywell Country Park in conjunction with Carla Keech of Sweet Smiles Photography.

We’ve divided the day into seven hour-long sessions, which you can reserve for a non-refundable £25 fee. Once the fee has been paid, you have my commitment that no further bookings for that slot will be taken, so the £25 is a guarantee against any potential loss of earnings on our part should you need to cancel for any reason.

After you have booked your session, we’ll look forward to meeting you on the day in the car park at the start of your slot time. Please be aware that YOU are responsible for purchasing a parking ticket – it is not included in the photo-shoot price! 🙂 We’ll have a quick chat about anything you’re desperate to incorporate into your shoot (bear in mind that there are lots of great things to do at Sywell Country Park, from feeding the ducks, swans and geese, to playing with the water and sand in the old reed beds, and even going exploring in the tunnels or riding the slide in Brock Wood). We’ll try to make sure we do everything you want, and hopefully there might even be some time left over to try some other things, too.

Both Carla and I will be shooting throughout; I will be taking the lead with Carla hanging back, capturing all those more subtle interactions between your group.

Because we are treating this as a “family” shoot, we’re happy for each party to comprise of a maximum of six people – be they large or small! That doesn’t mean that you all have to feature in every image, but please be aware that the more of you there are, the longer the process is likely to take, and we are going to have to be strict with the time your session ends. We will try to get some individual shots of each of you, too, should you so wish.

Since we will be on site all day, please be aware that you may have to wait a few days before your password-protected proofing gallery is ready – the images will need to be edited to look their best, and this is a time-consuming process. We understand that you will be itching to see them, but your patience will be greatly appreciated.

Once we’re done, you’ll be able to take a look at the images we’ve edited for you in your own time and decide which package you would like to buy.

The deal is really simple: You choose how many of the images you simply cannot live without and pay accordingly. We then get your prints printed, your images burnt to CD and we pop them in the post to you. The digital files are copyright free, so you can print them yourself, share them with family and friends or do whatever you so wish! Note: the £25 booking fee will be treated as credit against the prices below, so if you were to buy the package containing 20 images, you would only pay £175 more.
