Anna & Dan were married in a beautiful, emotional ceremony at the delightful Brampton Heath Golf Centre, near Northampton, on Saturday, 11th June 2016. I was on hand to provide my wedding photography services.

Wedding Ceremony – Brampton Heath Golf Centre

Brampton Heath Golf Centre is located to the north-west of Northampton in picturesque, rural Northamptonshire. This was my first wedding at the venue, but it’s definitely somewhere I’d like to return.

Considering how wet June was as a whole, the couple did quite well with the date they chose for their wedding. Essentially, it was a grey but dry day.

Anna & Dan’s wedding had two strong, recurring themes to it. The first was the VW Campervan, and the second was the beach. Dan wore VW Campervan cufflinks, while Anna & her entourage arrived at the venue in a stunning white and black 1966 VW.

After the ceremony I took the newly weds out to the VW for some pictures. The red interior worked extremely well against the exterior paintwork.

We then borrowed a golf buggy and headed out on to the golf course for a few pictures in the stunning surroundings.

Wedding Breakfast & Reception – Brampton Heath Golf Centre

Though not an old building, the ceremony and reception rooms look great. As I mentioned earlier, the beach featured prominently in the decor for the day. The Wedding Breakfast featured a choice of sausage and chips or fish and chips, complete with a pot of mushy peas! There was even a surfboard for guests to leave goodwill messages for Anna & Dan.

With a gap between the wedding breakfast and the reception, many of the guests headed out onto the balcony for drinks. It’s a great location and a real asset for any good-weather wedding!

Once the evening guests had arrived, the couple cut their cake and enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife.
