Viktorija and Levi were married in a lovely ceremony at the Best Western Rockingham Forest Hotel, Corby, Northants, on Sunday, 1st May 2016. I was privileged to be booked to photograph their wedding day.

Wedding Ceremony – Best Western Rockingham Forest

Located less than a mile from the famous Rockingham Castle, Corby’s Best Western Rockingham Forest Hotel has become a popular venue for Northamptonshire’s wedding couples. This was my second wedding at the venue, albeit the first where the ceremony had also taken place on site.

A large number of guests were present to witness the happy couple making their commitment to one another. Among them were a substantial contingent who had travelled from Viktorija’s home nation of Lithuania. They brought with them all manner of traditional Lithuanian cakes, all of which looked absolutely delicious.

The weather on the day was mainly good with just a few drops of rain falling during the group photos.

The main wedding cake and the decorations in the reception room were all crafted by the fair hands of Levi’s mum and sister; they looked great!

One of the more amusing moments of the day came as Viktorija threw the bouquet and it became lodged on one of the ceiling fittings! Groom to the rescue!

The happy couple cut the cake and shared their first dance before my work was complete.
