Driving around Northamptonshire during the long-winter evenings I’ve noticed lots and lots of illuminated churches, and it’s been my intention for quite a while to have a go at photographing some of them at night. Finally, last month, I did just that.

Natalie celebrated her 40th birthday at Sywell Village Hall on Saturday in company with a number of her closest friends and family. My event photography services were booked to capture all of the action.
With a new camera body to test, a lovely forecast (at least from 1400 onwards!) and Towcester Racecourse's final National Hunt racing meeting of the 2014/15 season, it was a bit of a no-brainer to once again take advantage of the course's free admission policy.
