Emma & Nick were married in a beautiful ceremony at Oundle Registration Office, Northants, on Thursday, 25th August 2016. I was honoured to be booked to provide my wedding photography services.

Emma & Nick’s families and friends came together at Oundle Registration Office to witness them tying the knot.

Touchingly, Emma was ‘given away’ by her and Nick’s son, Joshua, who walked with his mum down the aisle. I don’t think Emma stopped smiling at all, and the ceremony really set the tone for the whole day.

Wedding Breakfast & Reception – The Chequered Skipper, Ashton, Northants
After the ceremony, the wedding party moved on to the gorgeous The Chequered Skipper in Ashton. Ashton is perhaps best known locally for two reasons: 1) its hosting of the World Conker Championships and 2) the beautiful peacocks that are often found roaming on the green in front of the pub.
We headed out on to the aforementioned green for some group shots, but the peacocks were nowhere to be seen. It wasn’t long before it was time for the excellent Wedding Breakfast produced by the Chequered Skipper’s kitchen. No sooner had we got inside than it started raining!

Emma runs her own business, Emma’s Hearts and Crafts, making a variety of decorative items to brighten the home. It was therefore no surprise to see she’d left her mark on the venue. Everywhere looked fantastic!

Speeches were made by the Groom and his Best Man ahead of the food being served.

The rain had stopped by the time everyone had finished eating, so I took Emma & Nick back out on to the grass. The sun even managed to poke through, and it was a lovely opportunity for them to just chill out a bit.

As the evening guests started to arrive, Emma decided she wanted to throw her bouquet. It was caught brilliantly by the groom of a wedding I would be photographing just three weeks later!

The cake cutting took place outside before Emma & Nick enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife.

I mainly provide wedding photography services in Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Rutland, Oxfordshire & Warwickshire, in towns such as Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough, Oundle, Corby, Peterborough, Leicester, Huntingdon, Rushden, Towcester, Rugby, Daventry & Oakham. I am, however, only too happy to travel beyond those locations to capture the magic of your wedding day.

We are getting married on 22 feb 2022, currently booked for Stamford reg office, but looking for details from Oundle reg office. The reception is at the Talbot in Oundle, we would only be looking at a half day as the wedding is very small approx 20 guests and no plans for a large evening reception,
