Northants Wedding Photography: Grendon Lakes

Kelly & Mark were married in a stunning outdoor wedding ceremony at Grendon Lakes, Northants, on Sunday, 11th September 2016. I was booked to provide my wedding photography services.

Bridal Preparations – Family Home, Rushden, Northants

Kelly & Mark’s wedding took place on a glorious September day. After photographing the departure of the Groom and his party from the family home in Raunds, Northants, I moved on to the Bridal Preparations.

The VW Campervan that had delivered Mark to Grendon Lakes would also be taking Kelly to the venue.

Wedding Ceremony – Grendon Lakes, Northants

The outdoor wedding venue Kelly & Mark had chosen for their special day looked absolutely amazing. It was my first time photographing an outdoor ceremony, and I’m now itching to do more! Many of the decorations had been created by Kelly’s mum, Gail.

The ceremony was conducted by a lifelong friend of Mark and his family, which I know had special meaning for him.

Once the formalities had been concluded, I whisked the happy couple away in the Campervan for a few minutes. It’s such a picturesque venue, and given a bit more time I would have loved to have played with a few more ideas.

We still had the group shots to capture before I was scheduled to finish.

Wedding Breakfast & Reception – Grendon Lakes, Northants

Ultimately I was asked to stay on for another couple of hours, and a superb barbecue Wedding Breakfast was served to guests.

Great speeches from the Father-of-the Bride, Groom and Best Man all followed.

There was just enough time to grab a few piccies as the sun sunk in the sky before it was time for me to leave.

I am, however, only too happy to travel beyond those locations to capture the magic of your wedding day.
