WHEN SHOULD A SITTER SESSION Baby Photo Shoot TAKE PLACE?

Babies all develop at different paces, so precisely when a sitter session baby photo shoot takes place will very much depend upon your little one. We are ideally looking for that time when they can sit without requiring support but before they start crawling. This is typically between six and nine months, but there are no hard and fast rules.

WHAT TYPE OF PHOTOGRAPHS WILL I GET?

This is one of my favourite stages of baby development to photograph. Sitters tend to be very alert and interested in what’s going on around them, and you get lots of real smiles!

Sitter session baby photo shoots take place in my home studio in Woodford, Northamptonshire (NN14 4HY). I have lots of props that we can use for maximum cuteness, plus a heap of backdrop and flooring combinations to change the look of the images.

CAN SIBLINGS JOIN IN?

Absolutely, yes! However the vast majority of the session should be dedicated to the sitter.

WHAT TO WEAR FOR A SITTER SESSION Baby Photo Shoot

When compared to the selection I have for newborn sessions, I have only a small range of adorable little outfits available in my studio for your sitter session. As such, most parents elect to bring along clothes of their own choosing. Each sitter session photo shoot lasts up to two hours, which is usually plenty of time for a costume change or two. It’s also not too long for your baby to have decided he/she has had enough.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

SITTER SESSION BABY Photography BASIC PACKAGE – £200

The full £200 package price is payable in advance to secure your baby’s sitter session photo shoot in my diary.

I’ll edit the images that I think (hope!) you’ll like in both colour and black & white. Watermarked low-resolution samples will be uploaded to a password-protected gallery on the website, where you’ll be able to choose the images you would like to get printed.

This package includes:

• An up to 2-hour session in my baby photography studio;
• Use of my props and blankets;
• Watermarked images edited in both colour and black and white displayed on a password-protected web gallery, that you can share with friends and family;
• 5x prints of your choice at up to 18″x12″;
• Fully-edited, high-resolution digital image files of the images you select for printing in both colour and black & white provided on a password-protected download link, which are licensed to you (I retain the copyright, so you cannot sell them to a third party), allowing you to send them to friends and family or print them however you wish;
• A guarantee that if Baby does not allow me to get the bare minimum of 20 usable images from the shoot that you will be welcome to return and try again;
• An album on my Facebook business page featuring up to 5 low-resolution images from our shoot;

Additional prints at up to 18″x12″, plus their associated high-resolution digital files (supplied in both colour and black & white), can be provided at an additional cost of £12.50 per image.

If you spend an extra £250 on additional images, I will throw in all of the edited high-resolution digital files from the session in both colour and black and white.

Qualifiers will also receive a £50 credit towards a future booking with me and a 25% discount on my new range of stunning heirloom print products.

I’m really not sure about this…! Sitters are already starting to think for themselves.

2) Digital-Only SITTER SESSION Photography Package – £400

You might not automatically think it, but the high-resolution digital files from your session are the most valuable part. They are what enables you to print and keep printing the images captured.

By the time you get to see the gallery from your session, I will have already spent several hours editing the pictures.

I use an amazing printer for the prints supplied within my packages, and the reduction in cost for a digital-only package is unlikely to be as significant as you might expect. However, people keep asking, so…. 🙂

People wanting to receive ALL the edited high-resolution digital files from THEIR session Have three options:

1. If you do not wish to receive any prints at all, the total cost is £400 (including the £200 Sitter Session Baby Photography Basic Package fee). Delivery of the edited high-resolution digital files will be via a password-protected digital download link.
2. If you DO wish to receive the 5x up to 18”x12” prints from the Sitter Session Baby Photography Basic Package, the add-on cost is £225 (making your total spend £425). Delivery of the edited high-resolution digital files will be via a password-protected digital download link. Your prints will be shipped to your mailing address.
3. If your total spend from the session is £450 or higher (Sitter Session Baby Photography Basic Package + £250 of add-on purchases, either extra prints or wooden USB / print box combinations – see below; NB – Heirloom Print Product purchases do not count towards this), you automatically receive all the edited digital files from the session. If you take a wooden USB / print box combination, the high-resolution digital files will be copied to your USB. If not, they will be available via a password-protected digital download link.

Everyone spending £400 or more on an All-Digitals package will receive a £50 credit towards a future booking with me and will qualify for a 25% discount on my new range of stunning heirloom print products.

Please note that you do not need to decide on a package until after you have viewed your gallery. The £200 Sitter Session Baby Photography Basic Package fee is due before your session takes place regardless.

Optional Extras – Wooden Presentation Box & USB Stick Combo

Large print box, ebony USB stick & prints – £250

Complement your baby sitter photography session booking with a large wooden presentation box

The large wooden print box accepts 12″x8″ prints and has a slot for a branded wooden USB stick, which you also receive. The add-on price of £250 includes an additional 20 12″x8″ prints. As this will take your total spend from the session to £450, you will automatically get access to all of the high-resolution digital files from the session. The files will be copied to your USB stick and you will be granted print rights to their reproduction for personal use.
