Emma Thomas – Icarus – Defender Burghley 2025
British rider Emma Thomas rode 12-year old bay stallion Icarus at Defender Burghley 2025. They were ranked last of the 30 finishers in the cross-country phase, but there was no shame in that at all – it was a brutal test. They finished in 28th overall.
I caught them by the Parasol Table both outbound and inbound.
