It’s been a while since my last blog entry, so I thought it was about time I brought you up-to-date with some pictures from events I was asked to photograph in the last few weeks.

First up was Caroline and Paul’s lovely wedding at the picturesque St Peter’s Church, Weston Favell, where they were surrounded by family and close friends.

The reception and evening festivities took place at the Holiday Inn on Bedford Road, Northampton.

It hardly seemed possible that almost twelve months had passed since I did Baby Ashleigh’s newborn photo-shoot, but that’s what it was when her mummy asked me to take some pictures ahead of her first birthday. Ashleigh was my first newborn baby subject!

Next up was a face that will be particularly familiar to any of you who look in regularly. Baby Jacob and I have worked together on a number of occasions now, and his mummy is taking advantage of my “The Story of Baby’s First Year” package.

This, however, was an extra photo-shoot to get some Christmassy pictures in the bank for cards and presents.

Finally we come to Baby Charlie. His mummy and daddy were the first couple that entrusted me with the responsibility of photographing their wedding day, so it was an absolute honour to be asked to record the first official photographs of little Charlie.

And what a star he was, too! He put up with several outfit changes and multiple poses, but judging by the results, it was all well worth it.

I’m greatly looking forward to photographing Sarah and Duncan’s wedding this weekend, and then I head off to the United Arab Emirates to fulfil my role as aviation photographer at the Al Ain Air Championship near Abu Dhabi. I’ll be back in time for Christmas but head off again to Bahrain in mid-January to work once again for Twister Aerobatics and DHL Aviation EEMEA at the 2016 Bahrain International Airshow.
