What I found, though, was that it was often difficult having to work in very cramped, dark spaces, and it was obviously a pain having to drag props and equipment around with me. I always felt I could deliver better, and far greater variety, by having clients come to me in a purpose-designed professional studio. That’s the stage I’m at now, and I no longer visit clients’ homes.
